The Beginning of 2023 The Loss of a Friend.

We began 2023 with sad news as a long time friend and Junction-er (Barnaby Druthers is a presentation of the Nutmeg Junction audio theater ) Jeff Savage passed away. Jeff was a veteran of community theater in Connecticut and was a vital part of nearly every theater company in northwest CT. We miss him and mourn his loss. Since we began audio theater on community radio in 2018, we have not lost a member of our company in this way and it is fair to say we are still processing this.

We are grateful that examples of Jeff’s extraordinary voice work lives on in our audio files. We have placed our episodes on archive dot org, on our website here and will seek other ways of sharing our episodes to ensure his work is heard and enjoyed by generations to come.

We have decided as a group to honor him here on our site. Check back in the next few weeks for status on the page we will build to commemorate his legacy with us on Barnaby Druthers.
